# Privacy policy — Lara's Coloring Zoo --- **Effective date: September 21, 2026** This privacy policy explains what information Lara's Coloring Zoo (the "App") collects, how it's used, and your choices — written in plain language because this App is made for children and their parents to read together. ## The short version Lara's Coloring Zoo does not have user accounts, does not have chat or social features, does not use ads, does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, or location, and stores every drawing you make locally on your own device. The only data that leaves your device is anonymous app-usage data (via Firebase Analytics) and purchase/entitlement data needed to unlock content you've paid for (via RevenueCat and Apple/Google's own billing systems). The rest of this policy explains that in detail. ## Information we do not collect The App has no sign-up, sign-in, or account system of any kind, no chat or messaging features, no user profiles, and no way for a child to type or submit text, photos, or any personal information anywhere in the App. The App does not request or use camera, microphone, contacts, or location permissions — it has no code that calls any of these. ## Information we collect automatically **Usage and device data (Firebase Analytics).** The App uses Firebase Analytics (a Google service) to understand basic usage patterns — for example, which animal a player picks, whether a drawing was saved or shared, and paywall interactions (shown, purchased, restored, cancelled). This is tied to an anonymous, randomly generated device/installation identifier, not to any personal profile, name, or email — the App has no way to know who a player actually is. This can include general technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, language setting, and an approximate location derived from IP address (country/region level only — never precise GPS location, which the App never requests). See Google's own privacy policy for how Firebase Analytics data is handled: https://policies.google.com/privacy **Purchase and entitlement data (RevenueCat, and Apple/Google billing).** Unlocking additional animals, saving any drawing, and sharing a drawing, is handled through Apple's App Store or Google Play's own in-app purchase systems, coordinated by RevenueCat, a subscription/purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier and purchase/transaction/entitlement status (e.g., whether the "unlock everything" purchase is active) so the App can determine what you've already unlocked. **The App and RevenueCat never see or store your payment card details** — Apple and Google handle actual payment processing directly, under their own privacy policies: - Apple: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ - Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy - RevenueCat: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy ## Your drawings and creations Every drawing made in the App is saved **only on your own device**, in the App's own private storage area. Nothing you draw is ever uploaded to, viewed by, or stored on any server — including by us. Deleting a saved drawing in the App, or deleting the App itself, permanently removes it; we have no copy to restore, because we never had one. If you use the App's Share button (included with the one-time purchase, and behind the same parental gate described below), your device's own native share sheet opens (the same one every app on your phone uses) and you choose where the drawing goes — Messages, Mail, saving to Photos, or anywhere else your device offers. That choice, and the destination, is entirely between you and your device's operating system; the App and its developer never receive a copy of anything shared this way. ## Advertising and tracking This App shows no advertising of any kind — there is no advertising SDK anywhere in the App. Because it does not serve ads and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, it does not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt. ## Third-party service providers | Provider | What they receive | Purpose | |---|---|---| | Google (Firebase Analytics) | Anonymous device ID, usage events, general device/app info | Understanding app usage, improving the App | | RevenueCat | Anonymous app-user ID, purchase/entitlement status | Managing and validating in-app purchases | | Apple App Store / Google Play | Payment and purchase details | Processing payments (we never see your card details) | ## Parental gate Cat and Dog are free to color right away. Unlocking the rest of the animals, saving any drawing, or sharing any drawing, requires the one-time in-app purchase. Before that purchase screen is ever shown, the App displays a simple addition problem (two numbers, added together) and requires a typed numeric answer to continue — a "parental gate" intended to keep a young child from reaching a purchase screen unsupervised. Solving it, or cancelling it, does not send any information anywhere; it is a local, on-device check only, and no personal information is collected by it. ## Children's privacy Lara's Coloring Zoo is designed to be used by young children, typically with a parent or guardian nearby. The App does not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child, because it gives a child no way to enter or submit personal information anywhere in the App — there is no text input, account, chat, or profile of any kind. The limited automatic data described above (anonymous analytics and purchase/entitlement status) is not tied to a name, email, or other personally identifying information the App is aware of. If you are a parent or guardian and have questions about data associated with your household's use of the App — including a request to access or delete any information — contact us using the details below. ## Data retention Drawings live on your device for as long as you keep them there or keep the App installed; we have no server copy to retain or delete on our end. Analytics and purchase data are retained by Firebase and RevenueCat/Apple/Google according to their own retention policies, linked above. ## Changes to this policy If this policy changes — for example, because a future update adds a new feature that collects different data — we'll update this page and the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy. ## Contact us Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to: **Sasha Kolda / BabyNewt Co.** info@babynewt.com
